SECTION 02

Visual Identity
⊕ Color System
Core / Canvas
#F1EFE9
Warm Cream — main background
Accent / Primary
#3C42FB
Electric Blue — hero, cards, nav
Primary / Text
#1D1D1F
Near-Black — borders, dark cards
Secondary / Pop
#C1FF72
Lime — highlights on dark/blue only
Tertiary / Alt
#E5E3DD
Warm Gray — alternate card bg
Color Rule
Blue (#3C42FB) is the dominant accent. Lime (#C1FF72) is the pop — use it on dark or blue backgrounds only as a highlight, never on cream. Cream (#F1EFE9) is always the canvas. Never introduce colors outside this palette.
Card Alternation Order
White → Accent Blue → Warm Gray → Dark Mat → repeat. This creates the collage-editorial rhythm that defines the brand aesthetic.
Texture
Dark and hero sections use a cutting mat grid overlay at 24px (dark cards) or 48px (hero/blue sections).

Positioning
Core
I'm a Brand + Content Strategist and a Catholic Creator with over 10 years of parish ministry experience. I use my unique background in ministry and the creator economy to help brands, ministries, and businesses stand out and grow. I believe future successful brands will be led by creator-founders using their unique point of view to create intellectual property and grow meaningful relational communities. Christians have a big advantage in the emerging economy — a rich worldview around ideas like community, communication, and relationships.
Dimension Description In practice
Warm, not cold Relational, inviting, personal. You're talking to someone in the trenches with you — not a brand account. "Join me as we learn to create work that matters." Not "Subscribe for marketing tips."
Direct, not preachy Clear opinions and frameworks. Confident but not self-righteous. Shares convictions without lecturing. Name the idea, give the framework, move on. Don't hedge endlessly.
Framework-oriented Organizes ideas into named systems, frameworks, and models. Clarity through structure. Always looking for the principle behind the example. Names things.
Catholic, not niche Rooted in Catholic anthropology and worldview, but accessible and applicable beyond a Catholic-only audience. The faith is the foundation, not the fence. Writes to Catholics, but the ideas land broader.
Building in public Documents the journey as it happens. Shares wins, experiments, and lessons — not just polished results. Journal entries, field notes, "here's what I'm figuring out" energy.
Slightly quirky Has a personality. Uses brand ornaments (✳ ⊕ ¶), mixed case, unexpected word choices. "Vibe Wondering." "Cordial ⊗ Creators." Not boring. Never sterile.
✓ Sound like
  • Warm but sharp — like a great professor who's also a friend
  • Framework-first — name the idea before explaining it
  • Building in public — share the process, not just the result
  • Catholic without being cloistered — faith-rooted, not niche-locked
  • Confident enough to have a POV and defend it
  • Someone who makes things: articles, frameworks, systems, communities
✕ Don't sound like
  • A generic marketing coach
  • A parish bulletin (safe, vague, inclusive to the point of saying nothing)
  • A thought leader performing depth rather than having it
  • Someone who hedges every claim with "but of course, everyone's different"
  • Corporate or polished to the point of cold
  • A brand account pretending to be a person

Design Usage Rules
✓ Do
  • Embed Honeychrome as base64 WOFF2 — never link to an external URL
  • Use IBM Plex Mono for ALL non-display text
  • Keep lime (#C1FF72) only on dark or blue backgrounds
  • Alternate card backgrounds: white → accent → gray → dark
  • Include cutting mat grid texture on hero and dark cards
  • Use ✳ ⊕ ¶ ornaments as brand punctuation in labels and logos
  • Keep headlines UPPERCASE in Honeychrome
  • Use max-content (not fixed px) for numeral columns — Honeychrome is wide
✕ Don't
  • Use Inter, system fonts, or anything other than Honeychrome + IBM Plex Mono
  • Put lime on cream or white backgrounds (wrong contrast + energy)
  • Add any color outside the 5-color brand palette
  • Use rounded corners on badges — flat/square only
  • Use gradients anywhere
  • Load Honeychrome from an external URL
  • Use a fixed pixel width for numeral columns
  • Mix display fonts — Honeychrome only for display
Claude Artifact Workflow
Reference
When generating new brand visuals in Claude
Upload four Honeychrome WOFF2 files (ExtraWideBlack, WideBold, Bold, Regular) along with the prompt. Claude embeds them as base64 in @font-face declarations. The full SOP is in Notion under: Top Level CEO → Cordial Brandshow → SOP: HTML Visual Theme — Cordial Creators Brand.
Without font files
Use Barlow Condensed 900 from Google Fonts as the display substitute. Note clearly that production use requires Honeychrome.
Export for newsletter (Beehiiv)
Screenshot at 2x → insert as image. Blue hero and lime accents pop against white email canvas.
Export for social
Screenshot each card section → crop to 4:5 → accent blue reads strong on LinkedIn + Instagram.
