Why I Started Over
A note on the rebuild — why I started over, what's coming, and how to follow along.
I rebuilt my website from scratch.
The old site accumulated cruft over years of half-finished experiments. Rather than refactor, I started fresh — Next.js, MDX, gated essays, a real component library, and a publishing flow where Claude Code can ship a new post via pull request.
This first post is a smoke test. The site is live; the system works; the launch email goes out at the end of Phase 2.
